Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the JobCV platform ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your country)
• Provide truthful and accurate account information
• Not have been previously banned from the Service

3. Account

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activity that occurs on your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these terms.

4. Plans and Payments

4.1 Available Plans

• Free: Free, with limited features
• Pro: €20/month (or €180/year — 25% discount)
• Premium: €59/month

4.2 Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan:

• You agree to pay the amount indicated at the time of subscription
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled
• You may cancel automatic renewal at any time in Settings > Billing
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

4.3 Price Changes

We will provide at least 30 days' notice of price changes. Changes apply in the next billing cycle.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for:

• Illegal or fraudulent activities
• Sending spam or unsolicited content
• Distributing malware, viruses or malicious code
• Infringing intellectual property rights
• Unauthorised data extraction or scraping
• Intentionally overloading the infrastructure (DoS attacks)
• Creating false or misleading CVs with fraudulent intent

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create on the platform (CVs, profiles, signatures, stamps). You grant us a limited licence to store and process this content exclusively to provide the Service.

6.2 Our Platform

The code, design, templates and infrastructure of the platform are our property. You may not copy, modify or reverse engineer the platform.

7. AI Services

The platform uses artificial intelligence to generate CVs and roadmaps. This content is generated automatically and:

• Must be reviewed and validated by you before use
• May contain inaccuracies — we do not guarantee complete accuracy
• Is based on the data you provide — incorrect data generates incorrect results
• Does not replace professional career advice

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law:

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses
• Our total liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 12 months or €100, whichever is lower
• We do not guarantee that use of the platform will result in interviews or hires

9. Refunds

Please refer to our Refund Policy for details on cancellations and refunds.

10. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these terms, with or without prior notice. In the event of termination for violation, there is no right to a refund.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may modify these terms periodically. We will notify users of significant changes by email or notification on the platform. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
